Call or text (416) 990-4555, or send the form below. We answer during business hours and return messages the same day where we can.
Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed Sunday.
Our address is a working shop rather than a showroom, so there is nothing to visit. All of our work happens at your property.
We respond within one business day.
We call you back to arrange a time, usually within one business day. Across most of North York we can be out within a day or two.
The visit takes about an hour. We get into the attic, or wherever the problem is, and look at what is actually there rather than guessing from the floor below. That includes measuring the R-value you currently have instead of estimating it from the age of the house, which matters because it decides both what the job needs and which rebate tier you fall into.
You get a straight explanation of what the house needs and what it does not. If the thing causing your cold room turns out to be heating or ventilation rather than insulation, we will tell you that rather than quote you for insulation anyway.
Then a written quote, itemised, with the numbers explained. No obligation, and we do not chase you afterwards.
Most jobs start in the attic. Old or damaged material comes out where it needs to, and blown-in insulation goes in to the depth the house actually needs rather than a standard figure. If you are not sure whether that is your problem, attic insulation is the place most houses lose the most heat.
We also handle wall insulation, injected into existing cavities without opening up drywall, which is usually the answer for a draughty older house or a corner room that never holds temperature. Basement insulation deals with cold floors on the level above and the damp that often comes with them. And garage insulation matters most where there is living space above it, since that floor sits between a heated room and what is effectively outdoors.
Air sealing runs through all of it. Insulation slows heat moving through material and does nothing about air moving around it, so the gaps get closed first. It is the step most often skipped and it frequently matters more than the depth that goes in afterwards.
Ontario's Home Renovation Savings programme can cover up to $1,250 of an attic insulation upgrade, and it runs to 30 November 2026. No home energy assessment is required for the attic stream.
We check your existing R-value during the visit, which is what sets the rebate tier. Ask us about how the programme works and we will tell you where your house is likely to land.
We are based in North York and most of our work is within the district, across Willowdale, Don Mills, Bathurst Manor, Downsview, Newtonbrook and Bayview Village.
We also work across Toronto, Mississauga and Etobicoke, and travel further into the GTA for larger jobs. The full list is on our areas we serve page.
If you are outside those areas, call and ask. We will tell you honestly whether the trip makes sense for the size of the job.
We are at 244 Bartley Dr, North York, ON M4A 1G1
